Hann pH Buffer Solutions

Calibration solutions are essential to keeping your meter reading accurately and reliably. The bulb in a pH meter is a semi-permeable glass membrane with a reference solution inside. Over time, the reference solution changes, and the calibration solution is used to adjust the meter to these changes.

There are three common pH values: 4.01 (acid), 7.01 (neutral), and 10.01 (alkaline). Two point calibration with 4.01 and 7.01 or 7.01 and 10.01 gives the most accurate result But if the values you expect to read are right around one of these values, you may be able to use just one.

A few drops of the storage solution should be placed in the cap of the meter help to keep it moist, and minimize the change to the reference solution.

The conductivity solution should be matched to the range of your meter.
